chelsea:artsfestival

St Luke’s will be at the heart of events that go to make up this year’s chelsea:artsfestival.

The final concert (Saturday 20th June) features the leading Beethoven expert and well-known face from the small screen John Suchet. With music provided by leading British pianist Simon Wallace, in Beethoven – The Last Master, John Suchet gives a fascinating insight into the life and work of this most tempestuous and troubled of musicians.

Events for children are also scheduled for the Hall of Remembrance in Flood Street and Christchurch. On Sunday 14th June, top cartoonist Tim Quinn will lead workshops for children aged 7 and upwards whilst the young jazz group the Dixie Ticklers offer hand on experience on Saturday 20th June.
