Family Service

On the first Sunday of the month in term-time Sunday School is replaced by a 9.30am Family Service at Christ Church. These are interactive and engaging Eucharistic services in which the Bible readings, story, prayers and hymns are all child friendly. Children stay throughout the whole service, which lasts about 40 minutes. There remains a crèche available in the vestry for very young children.

On these Sundays, children remain welcome at all our other Sundays – including the 10.30am and 11am Sung Eucharists – but there is no specific provision for them. For more information about children at our regular Sunday worship see Children’s Church.
